How to become a wound manager at medical
You have completed training as a registered nurse and enjoy building and expanding your network? Are you passionate about wounds? Then the job as a wound manager with us is made for you.
If you haven’t yet completed training as an ICW wound expert, that’s no problem either We support you in your qualification as a certified wound expert and work together with external partners.
Of course, we will provide you with the appropriate work clothes, all necessary materials and a qualitative training, so that the course is set for your perfect start as wound manager.

Ideally, you should have completed 3 years of professional training in the field of human medicine (e. g. health care and nursing staff (m/f/d), geriatric nurse (m/f/d), medical assistant (m/f/d) or similar), sound wound experience, good written and spoken German, and a valid Class B driver’s license.
If, despite your practical experience, you do not yet have any recognized further training in the field of wounds, this is not a big deal:
We train our employees to become wound managers. Nevertheless, you should have the desire for or already have experience with networking, since the profession as a certified wound expert also includes a clear sales aspect, which additionally sets it apart from a classic profession in nursing.
Of course it would be helpful if you already have a certificate as a wound expert. However, it is not a mandatory requirement for submitting your application.
What’s important (and mandatory) is a completed medical education as well as solid wound experience. From the submission of your application until your possible start with us, you will have enough time to complete further training to become a wound expert. It is important to us that everyone can develop. For this purpose, we offer further training at external educational institutes.
