We support you with modern wound care for your dialysis patients.
Often, more complications and consequently poorer recovery occur in dialysis patients due to underlying conditions, which is why these
require sensitive care.
It is important that all quality
and hygiene standards are adhered to.
Together with our dialysis partners, we do our best, every day, to ensure that dialysis patients receive the ideal wound care suitable for them. Since dressing changes are sometimes performed during dialysis, time and resources can be saved.
Of course, we also provide outpatient wound care in the dialysis patient’s own private home.
Expand your sphere of activity to include outpatient wound care with us!
Register a new wound patient by phone or online through our website. Even in urgent situations, medical is here for you.
A wound expert examines your patient's wound and coordinates the individual care recommendation with your treating general practitioner or specialist.
We collect prescriptions for dressing materials for our mutual patients from the doctor and deliver the materials free of charge to the patient's home or care facility.
Our wound experts regularly visit our mutual patients to check the wound's healing status. We create guideline-compliant wound documentation and initiate the supply of the appropriate wound materials. At the same time, we provide nursing staff with guidance on the proper handling of wound care materials and are available for any questions at any time.
The dressing changes are usually painless because the material does not stick to the wound. Since we are strictly manufacturer-neutral, we only use materials which we already had good experiences with.
In combination with the professional work of our experienced wound managers, this has an extremely positive effect on the treatment’s duration – and on the patients involved. This means that in many cases the DRG flat rate per case can be used in the best possible way.
On weekdays we can assure appointments within 24 hours. We will then visit your doctors office or the dialysis patient’s home in person and perform the wound assessment.
If desired, we also offer a digital wound visit. The wound assessment can usually be carried out even more quickly. This offers maximum flexibility to the treating doctors and their dialysis patients.
As part of our service, our wound experts guide medical staff, dialysis patients themselves or relatives in professional wound care. This allows for more flexibility and freedom for both the patient and your team.
